BOLTON clarion track team continues to improve on Fridays at the velodrome with Ian Tipping and Jim Ince in the points again.
Jim was in a photo finish as three riders crossed the line together and was declared third in the scratch race.
Ian Tipping gained third spot in the hard to judge 'unknown distance' race -- the bell is rung after an unspecified time for the last lap provoking an all out sprint.
Paul Dickinson has shown early time trial form with a personal best time recorded over ten miles on the Levens course. His 22mins 56secs indicates a good season ahead.
