A NEW student social room will be opened on Friday with the help of top DJs Flip n Fill.
Live tunes mixed by the popular DJs, who have recently been riding high in the charts, will help launch the Under-16s social room at Bolton Community College.
The social room has been designed and put together by students, supported by a grant of £2,000 from Connexions, the youth careers and advice organisation, as a place where students can "chill out" between their studies at the Manchester Road campus.
The 14 to 16 year olds involved have chosen to fill the room with a variety of technological toys to enjoy in their own time, ranging from games consoles to DJ mixing equipment. The room will be decorated with graffiti art.
