Geordie legends Lindisfarne are set to get Westhoughton Golf Club swinging when the band visits as part of a new nationwide tour.
Lindisfarne Acoustic follows up the band's well-received album Promenade and sell-out seven-week UK tour.
The group first appeared out of Tyneside in the early 70s with an instantly recognisable style combining rootsy instrumentation and rock sensibility. Hit records followed including Meet Me On The Corner, Lady Eleanor, Fog On The Tyne (the top selling British album of 1972) and Run For Home. This latest UK tour follows a successful three-week Lindisfarne Acoustic tour of the USA in August 2002.
