TV CHEF John Benson-Smith is a happy man.
Although he lives in Hazlewood Castle in North Yorkshire -- where he has a hotel, restaurant and cookery school -- he is also currently involved in running the restaurant at Manchester City Football Club.
Which is all very satisfying for John as he is a lifelong fan of the team.
Local gourmets will be able to sample John's talents when he is celebrity guest chef at a Culinary Secrets evening at Chefs restaurant at the Paragon business park in Horwich on Saturday, March 29. He has been invited by local food guru Mike Harrison, an admirer of the TV Masterchef judge.
In Horwich he will be feeding a select group of paying local gourmets who will, no doubt, soon be singing his praises.
