ST Catherine's Amateur music Society is offering musical theatre lovers the rare chance to hear a semi-staged concert performance of Sigmund Romberg's operetta The New Moon.
The production will be in concert version with narrated links by Alice Bowmer. Soloists and full chorus will feature, together with orchestra.
Soloists will include Eileen Middleton, David Reeves and Jim Lancaster. Performances take place at St George's Church, Daisy Avenue, Farnworth, from March 20 to 22, at 7.30pm.
Well known songs featured will include Lover Come Back To Me, One Kiss, Wanting You, Softly As In A Morning Sunrise and Stout Hearted Men.
