THE Earl and Countess of Wessex were due to visit to a secure psychiatric unit in Merseyside today. Prince Edward and Sophie were officially opening a new ward at the Scott Clinic, Rainhill.
The royal couple were due to tour the medium-secure unit and meet patients and staff. They were also due to visit two schools in St Helens.
