Bolton Symphony Orchestra is joined by guest conductor, Mark Heron and guest leader, Simon Robertshaw for a concert of music by Holst, Vaughan Williams and Elgar on Saturday, 7.30pm.

The concert will take place at the Albert Halls, Bolton, and will feature local virtuoso Andy Wyatt, soloist in Vaughan Williams' Concerto for Tuba and Orchestra. Andy was a founder member of Bolton Symphony Orchestra and regularly plays with local ensembles, including Corus Brass and Wingates Band. He has been broadcast on radio, won competitions and played with such greats as Roy Castle and Johnny Morris.

Guest conductor Mark Heron returns after a successful performance with Bolton Sinfonietta last year. He has recently given his professional debut with the Pori Sinfonietta in Finland. His engagements for 2003 include work in Chicago and Sweden.
