FURTHER to the letter "Second class ....", printed in the Bolton Evening News on March 6, regarding the poor postal service.
I have just had my own experience of it.
On Friday, February 28, my daughter, who lives 16 miles away in Sale, posted a letter to me first class in time for the 11.30am collection. It finally dropped on my door mat on Wednesday, March 5. It was post-marked Birmingham!
Words fail me.
