YOUNG musicians from Smithills School Senior Band join the world famous Leyland Band in a Festival of Brass at the Victoria Hall, Bolton on February 22, 7.30pm.
John Hinckley is guest conductor for Leyland, while Smithills' director of music Chris Wormald will once again be at the helm for the Senior Band.
People are invited to send requests for their favourite pieces to be played on the night. Anyone keen to make a suggestion for the "people's choice" can send suggestions to Festival of Brass, 10 Hardmans, Bromley Cross, Bolton BL7 9XR, or email David.Whitley1@ntlworld.com before February 14.
Tickets are on sale now from Smithills School Music Department and Smithills School Reception on 842382 or at the address above.
