WHAT is this town coming to?
Surely I can't be the only person to have noticed the huge quantity of rubbish and unwanted household items thrown on the steep bank of the River Croal in Bolton?
It can be clearly seen when approaching the Mayor Street bridge over the river, heading in the direction of Chorley New Road, and looks an eyesore.
I have contacted the Environmental Health Department with a view to getting this site cleared, and wondered if some readers were concerned enough to take the matter up, it may carry more weight.
