NATIONAL Holocaust Memorial Day wasbeing marked across the region today.
Greater Manchester Police chief Michael Todd was addressing a service held by Trafford Council at Lancashire County Cricket Club and later a ceremony was being held in Bolton Town Hall.
In Preston, schoolchildren will present drama, poetry and songs in the Charter Theatre to remind people of the suffering that took place. This is the third year Britain has officially remembered Holocaust victims.
