A GIRLS' football team from Euxton is showing they can also 'bend it like Beckham'.
Euxton Girls, who play in the Lancashire Girls' League, are so good that they have attracted sponsorship from local businesses, who are queuing up to get their names linked with the team.
The club has rapidly expanded from having just 14 players when it began last July, to more than 50.
Hanson's, based at Brinscall Quarry, recently donated kit worth £150, and the team has had plenty of interest from other businesses.
Girls aged seven to 13 play in two teams -- under 10s and under 12s. The under 12s are currently third in the league.
