WITH regard to your headline "pervert locked up" January 21.
While reading your story, I find it very difficult to believe that a person with two previous convictions for this kind of disgusting offence can work with children, voluntary or otherwise. Some years ago I used to teach kids to swim, but, before anyone at the club was allowed to be poolside and teach the kids, they were checked out and it was made sure they were safe.
The system needs a rapid, thorough overhaul from the basics to the top to make sure disgusting people like this don't slip through the net. Perverts pick on young kids, young women and old people, they never pick on someone my size. Just shows how pathetic and sick they are.
