THE Imperial War Museum has joined forces with photographer Len Grant to create Land Mark Talent, a competition to attract and develop young photographic talent in Manchester.
Entrants are asked to use photography to reflect the transformation of Manchester's skyline and the outlook of its people.
The winning entry will be displayed in the Imperial War Museum in February.
All shortlisted entries will be shown as a website exhibition on www.iwm.org.uk/ from early January.
Entries must be received as unmounted prints -- minimum size 10 x 8 inches, maximum 16 x 12 inches -- by 12 noon on January 17.
For entries to be included in the website exhibition, prints must be no larger than 10 x 8 inches or supplied digitally as a j-peg at 72dpi.
Further details and free entry forms are from Ann Flenley on 0161 836 4043 or aflenley@iwm.org.uk or at the Imperial War Museum North, Trafford Wharf Road, Trafford Park, Manchester M17 1TZ.
