COUNCIL tenants in Bury have more chances next week to make their views known on what they want for their homes.

Last year a series of consultations took place about the levels of investment there should be in local authority housing. In 2003, more meetings will be held to consider various options.

Cllr Ray Watts, Bury Metro's Executive Member for Regeneration and Housing, said: "We are trying to encourage a good turnout to these meetings to make sure as many tenants as possible take part in this consultation. This is a real chance for them to make their views known about the future of their homes."

The meetings will take place on Monday, January 20, from 4pm to 7pm at Ramsbottom Civic Hall, and on Wednesday, January 22, from 2pm to 7pm at St Bernadette's Social Club, Whitefield.
