FORMER teachers who fancy returning to the classroom are urged to attend a refresher course in Stretford.
The 10-week course will cover developments such as ICT, the National Numeracy and Literacy strategies, and an update on the National Curriculum.
Those taking part in the course will be able to claim a bursary of £150 per week, with a further £150 per week available towards the cost of childcare. The course runs from February 6 to April10. For further information call 0845 6000 993, or visit the website www.canteach.gov.uk
