ASTLEY and Tyldesley Miners' Welfare Cycle Speedway Club have received a New Year boost.
The Association of Greater Manchester Authorities have awarded them a grant of £1150, to assist with the promotional costs of staging the 2003 World Cycle Speedway Championships, which are taking place at Astley and Tyldesley and Bury on August 1-3.
