CAN Wanderers exist as yo-yo club ?
It is a burning question to be sure.
But we must accept, in our present financial state,
That for yo-yoism there is no cure.
The burden of debt is horrendous.
It's a well known fact that the media knows.
Our Premiership status is severely threatened.
In fact it could already be in its death throes.
You see, the result of this big financial debt,
Is that we struggle to be a "top twenty" team.
To have the size and quality of the squad required,
And to have long term bonding of such players is just a dream.
As reality lacks and we find our true level
That the money available will bring.
We must hope and pray that Sam stays with us
He's a world class manager operating on a shoe string.
There's something else we must hope and pray for;
Its the kind of luck that Blackburn Rovers know.
If Wanderers had a multi-millionaire benefactor.
There would be available a heaven sent cash flow.
The standard of player presently available to the Wanderers
Ensures that we are a borderline case.
But we've been here before, and now we're ready for more;
There'll be one hell of a fight, but no disgrace.
So the answer to the question of yo-yoism is:
That with management under Big Sam's care.
We can tolerate the horrible spectre of relegation
Whilst having to live with the yo-yo nightmare.
