A SEMINAR aimed at cutting crime in the community is being held at the Last Drop Hotel today (Tuesday).
Hosted by the Greater Manchester Shrievalty Police Trust, representatives from local businesses are being given the chance to discuss practical solutions to problems of crime and disorder.
High Sheriff Professor Sir Netar Mallick, Chief Constable Michael Todd and Mayor of Bolton Cllr John Walsh are at the event.
The Shrievalty Trust was founded in 1994 by Sir John Zochonis, former High Sheriff and former Chief Constable Sir David Wilmot as a charitable trust that would link police with the worlds of business and industry. To date, it has raised more than £2.5m, allowing for the funding of over 300 crime reduction projects.
