PLANS to change a block of flats into a children's day care centre look likely to get the go-ahead.
Deborah Brabbing has applied for permission to change a terraced house of five self-contained flats into a day centre catering for 25 children and four members of staff in Seymour Road, Astley Bridge.
The day care centre will open Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm, with play areas in the front and side gardens.
A group of 61 parents and carers have signed a petition in support of the day centre.
Bolton Council's planning committee will decide if the day centre should open at their meeting on Thursday.
