A MIXTURE of the familiar and new are set to star at Bolton's Albert Halls this coming season.

Bolton's own Peter Kay headlines the array of acts lining up to appear at the town centre venue . . . but tickets for his shows were sold out before the season's programme was printed.

However, there is still a variety of comic talent to enjoy with well known names including Ken Dodd (January 28 and 29), Harry Hill (March 21), Bobby Davro (May 30), and Aussie comic and songwriter, Kevin Wilson (June 19).

Uri Geller is "Back From The Jungle" to amaze audiences on February 17, while spirit medium Derek Acorah pays Bolton another visit on February 25.

Popular tribute bands continue to feature heavily in the Halls' programme, alongside a few "originals" including Joe Brown (February 20), Midge Ure (March 8), and former Spandau Ballet frontman, Tony Hadley (May 31).

And for those even more nostalgic there is a mouth watering line up from the seventies featuring Rose Royce, Odyssey and The Real Thing on March 12.

The Fabulous Drifters celebrate their fiftieth anniversary with a UK concert tour. The new two hour show on January 31 will feature all the most famous songs including Under The Boardwalk, Kissing In The Back Row Of The Movies and Saturday Night At The Movies. Tickets are available from 334306.
