ENGLAND all-rounder Andrew Flintoff has been given the go-ahead to rejoin England's one-day squad in Australia after coming through a rigorous fitness test on his groin injury.
It is a major boost to England's World Cup plans as Flintoff's powerful hitting and seam bowling are likely to be two of the key factors to success in next month's competition.
However, Flintoff must show he is capable of standing up to the rigours of a long competition and England are likely to want to test him as soon as possible after his arrival in Australia.
