MEMBERS at Bolton Lads and Girls Club will be getting on their bikes this summer to help raise funds for the centre.
The Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge will take place over the weekend of June 14 and 15, from Morecambe to Scarborough, and the club is now looking for teams of three cyclists and one driver to take part.
Each rider needs to raise a minimum of £200 to take part, with a registration fee of £25 per cyclist.
Riders will leave Morecambe on the Saturday morning and cycle to Harrogate where they will stay overnight.
On Sunday morning, the teams will leave Harrogate and cycle the remainder of the way to Scarborough.
Everyone who takes part will receive an event t-shirt, a medal and a photo, and the the team that raises the most sponsorship will be presented with a trophy.
For more information about the challenge, contact the club on 540117.
