PASSENGER numbers at Liverpool's John Lennon Airport have again soared to record highs, according to figures released this week.
Almost three million people passed through the airport last year -- a rise of 26 per cent on the previous 12 month period.
Airport bosses attribute growth to more scheduled and charter flights and the new £32.5 million passenger terminal.
