A PROJECT aiming to target those who commit the most crimes and do the most damage to the community launches today.
Greater Manchester Police hope to cut crime by tackling people who carry out their own personal crime waves.
Those who take part in the Greenheys Persistent Offenders Scheme will have committed three or more offences of burglary, robbery or car crime.
They will be directed to a range of services including drug treatment, and if they fail to comply, will face court.
