ENGLISH Youth Ballet is looking for 100 young dancers -- boys and girls -- aged between eight and 18 years to perform in a full scale production of The Sleeping Beauty at The Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool, on June 20 and 21.
Rehearsals will take place during the last week of May and two weekends in June in a school in Liverpool. Choreography will be by Dominic Marshall and Julianne Rice-Oxley, with classes and rehearsals from the director and professional artists performing the lead roles in the ballet. The auditions will be held in two sessions on Sunday, February 9, at the Royal Court Theatre. Eight to 11 years from 2pm to 3.30pm; and 12 to 18 years from 4pm to 5.30pm. Audition fee is £6.50.
