A NURSE from Leigh who verbally abused a resident patient and failed to report to work because he was hungover, has been struck off the national register.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council's Professional Conduct Committee found Trevor Williams, aged 49, guilty of misconduct at a hearing in Wigan.
His offences were committed at Hollins Park Hospital in Warrington in 1999.
