LEIGH RMI were frustrated by the weather last night as their Lancashire Cup tie at Flixton became a victim of the deep freeze.
Officials at Valley Road deemed the pitch unplayable shortly after 2pm, meaning that the two sides will have to try again next Tuesday.
The postponement could instigate a mini fixture pile-up for Mark Patterson's men, as the tie will be delayed further should the FA Trophy tie with Vauxhall Motors not be resolved on Saturday.
