THIS picture, from the 1930s, which Keith Gray, of Ringley Road West, Outwood, Radcliffe, has sent was of a tobacco shop called The Cigar Divan, on Churchgate, on a site which later became part of the front of the Theatre Royal.
In the doorway is Mr Gray's mother Ada McGrath (before she married), who ran the shop.
