WHATEVER possessed pretty actress Leslie Ash to get her lips plumped up?
Having her chest enhanced is one thing. But when she appeared in BBC1 cop series Merseybeat this week, her lips were so blubbery you had to wonder if she'd gone a couple of rounds with Lennox Lewis beforehand.
The effect was totally fascinating. It was hard to concentrate on the plot because you couldn't tear your eyes away from her mouth.
I just hope her face settles down for next week's programme.
Full marks to co-stars John McArdle and Jonathan Kerrigan for their lack of reaction. Managing to act opposite a woman who looks like she's put on her make up with a foot pump can't have been easy.
