MANAGER Sam Allardyce has denied Wanderers are to sign Leeds United's out-of-favour midfielder David Batty.
The former England international, who has been frozen out of the first-team picture at Elland Road, was linked with a loan move to the Reebok by a tabloid newspaper.
But the Wanderers boss has quashed the rumour.
He said: "This is just newspaper talk. I am not interested in bringing the player to the football club."
