THE Bridgewater Hall's International Concert Series continues with a visit from The Tallis Scholars on January 10.

The group combines renditions of sacred music from the Renaissance and Tudor church composers with a new work for 40 voices by Robin Walker.

The Renaissance theme also features on January 21 in the repertoire of soprano Emma Kirkby, whose selection of songs is accompanied by lutenist Jakob Lindberg, one of the finest exponents of the instrument.

On January 26, the talents of charismatic violinist Joshua Bell are showcased in a programme including Schumann and Beethoven.

John Scott, organist of St Paul's Cathedral performs on the Marcusson organ on February 20, while the "Pavarotti of the organ", Carlo Curley delivers a larger than life presentation of traditional organ music on January 23.
