A GROUP of volunteer drivers who worked at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, and enjoyed the experience so much, have formed a charity to ensure the spirit of the event lives on.
More than 50 volunteers have joined forces to launch T Crew 2002 to raise money for good causes across the region.
Jay Powell, vice-chairman of T Crew 2002 -- who drove the Beckhams to the opening ceremony -- said: "The whole Games experience was wonderful and changed my life. As a result I vowed to carry on with the spirit it generated."
