SIMON Edwards has been fined and banned by magistrates, obtained a criminal conviction and had his picture splattered on the back page of the Bolton Evening News.
Is that not enough?
The poor fellow has been made an example of in the worst possible way, even when within touching distance of the referee all he did was to point at his watch.
Had he actually laid a finger on the referee perhaps the BWFC would have advocated a public flogging?
Bolton Wanderers should be ashamed of their overall cynical treatment of the supporters.
The next time BWFC write to me suggesting that I take out a loan, credit card, mortgage et al, their correspondence will be treated in a similar manner.
