IT IS now official, Conservative councils deliver better public services.
That is the clear verdict highlighted in an independent report by the Audit Commission which is further proof that Conservative Councils do it better, providing more value to council tax payers than their Labour and Liberal
Democrat counterparts.
We already know that Conservative Councils charge lower council tax, now we are reminded that they deliver better services at the same time.
In percentage terms, 27 per cent of Conservative Councils were graded excellent, while just 12 per cent of Labour authorities and 11 per cent of Liberal Democrat authorities achieved the same category.
The statistics speak for themselves.
