POOR access into Morecambe is the biggest single barrier to investment and regeneration in the seaside town, the resort's MP has told the Commons.
Labour's Geraldine Smith said transport services to the town were "infrequent" and there was "universal acceptance" for a new link road to the M6.
Ms Smith said: "It is vital that funding is provided by the Government."
