ENGLAND'S injury worries continued to mount in Australia today as Ian Blackwell suffered a blow to the hand off the bowling of Steve Harmison in practice.
Blackwell received a knock on his left hand from a short delivery in the WACA nets as the tourists warmed-up for tomorrow's one-day international against Sri Lanka.
He was immediately removed from practice and, after being inspected by physio Dean Conway, he was sent to a nearby hospital for X-rays - where to England's great relief it was revealed there was no fracture.
