TOURISTS planning to visit Manchester for the Commonwealth Games in July are being lured away from the city with the help of a new website.
Calling itself "Manchester's Garden", Cumbria hopes to target sports fans through the website HERE claiming the Lake District is only an hour's motorway drive from Manchester and persuade them to leave the city behind to book into hotels an hour up the motorway in the Lake District.
