BRUNO N'Gotty's continuing struggle for full fitness is worrying Wanderers.

The Frenchman started a three-match suspension today for his controversial dismissal in the home draw with West Brom but he would not have been fit to face Chelsea after limping off at Leeds with a calf injury.

It is a problem that has bugged the former PSG, Milan and Marseille defender all season and is now beginning to concern Sam Allardyce.

"He would not have been fit for today after suffering this latest recurrence," the manager said. "It's something we're going to have to have a look at."

Sources in France claim Montpelier are lining up a move for Gerald Forchelet, the Tahiti-born midfielder, who joined Wanderers in February from AS Cannes.

Allardyce beat off competition from Glasgow Rangers, Chelsea and West Ham for the highly-rated 21-year-old but Forchelet has failed to establish himself in the senior squad could be set for a return to French when the transfer window opens in January.

Chris Armstrong has recovered from the groin injury that has kept him on the sidelines for a fortnight and is ready to resume his bid for a place in Wanderers' Premiership squad.
