JUST been to see our very own Peter Kay in action, live at the Sunderland Empire.
What a show! This guy is a comedy genius and is a credit to the town.
More than 90 minutes of laugh-out-loud comedy, including hilarious stories and gags about the things people say, wedding functions and TV's very own Bullseye complete with Jim Bowen and Tony Green.
The highlight for me must be the piece on dunking biscuits in your "brew" (if you have witnessed this show, or plan to in the near future, you will understand why) -- hugely comical yet strangely true ...
All this and a lot more made the 300-mile round trip seem like a walk in the park! Miss it and miss out!
