IN my capacity as Town Mayor of Horwich, I would like to issue a cordial invitation to the residents of Horwich to join me and my fellow councillors for the lighting of the Civic Christmas Tree on Friday, December 6, at 6pm, at the Crown Roundabout.
The lighting ceremony will be followed by a short carol service conducted by Rev M Thomason, with the band from Rivington and Blackrod High School and the choir from Lord Street Primary School.
