TICKETS for the Bolton Evening News reader holiday offer to see Peter Kay in London have been selling like hot cakes -- and now there is the chance for more people to get in on the act.
Our office has been flooded with calls for tickets with people placed on a waiting list in case of cancellations. There are still a few tickets left for the trip to see the Bolton comedian on January 27, with an extra 50 seats going on sale from Monday for the same date. This will be the fifth coach being sent as part of the offer and our staff say this is the best reader offer they have ever had. Kay Martin, from the reader holidays department, said: "We have only had two adverts in the newspaper so far, and the tickets have sold out straight away. It has been very popular."
The offer includes return coach travel, tickets for Peter's show at Hammersmith Apollo, free time in Windsor and London, as well as overnight accommodation at a three or four star hotel.
