FRIENDS of a woman fighting breast cancer are holding a fund raising day on Saturday. Gillian Pimblott, aged 37, has been fighting breast cancer for the last two years.
Despite her illness, she has managed to stay positive and has raised several hundred pounds for cancer charities.
The day will start at noon at Gin Pit Miners Welfare Club, Ley Road, Astley, with a five-mile fun run -- or you can walk. Entry will be £4 adults, and £2.50 under 16s. Contact Shaun on 01942 740710 or Mark 01942 892638 for details.
