POP stars and celebrities are to converge in Blackpool tonight for the Children in Need event.
Gareth Gates, Pop Idol Zoe Birkett and Atomic Kitten will take to the stage at the Central Car Park from 6.30pm.
Events are being staged across the region, including Manchester, for the annual charity appeal.
