MUSICIANS from Bolton Symphony Orchestra will perform Walton's Henry V at Bolton Albert Hall on Saturday, 7.30pm, with guest conductor Stephen Threlfall, narrator Charles Foster, and the forces of two local choirs -- The John Powell Singers and Bolton School Boys Division Junior Choir.

The concert is part of Walton Comes Home -- the North of England's celebration of the centenary of the Lancashire-born composer. Walton wrote Henry V to accompany the classic Lawrence Olivier film of 1943.

In partnership with Bolton music Service, the concert is part of a music education project, organised by the orchestra co-leader, violinist Carolyn Baxendale. Pupils across Bolton are currently learning about Henry V in class and will receive free tickets. The concert begins at 7.30 pm, and tickets, £7, with £5 concessions and under-19s free, can be bought on the door or in advance from the Albert Halls Box Office on 01204 334400.
