A TEENAGE girl only confessed to the killing of a journalist in Stockport because of her love for her boyfriend, Manchester Crown Court has heard.
Deborah Taylor, aged 18, said she admitted stabbing Peter England, aged 54, because her 23-year-old boyfriend, Lee Whiteley, persuaded her to save him from jail.
Whiteley, of Barnsley, and Taylor, from Stockport, both deny murder.
