JOHN Court snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in the Halliwell Cons Darts knockout.
He led 2-0 lead against Shaun Liptrot and started the third leg with a 180 but Liptrot fought back to win a great match 3-2. Losing semis finalists were Ian Roe and Paul Halliwell, best lady Georgina.
Sunday's winner was Roe who beat Tony Green in the final. Losing semifinalists were Wayne Merrick and Wayne Taylor, best lady Jean Burns
Knockout is every Friday and Sunday, £1 entry, draw made at 9.05pm.
