TWO papergirls on bicycles fought off two masked man who tried to abduct them.
The 11 and 13-year-olds were delivering newspapers in Gloucester Road, Middleton, on Monday when a dark-coloured car approached. Two men wearing Balaclavas got out and chased them to a nearby walkway where they grabbed hold of them.
Both girls struggled free and escaped. Police are appealing for witnesses.
