AFTER watching probably the worst Bolton performance for many years against the worst team I've seen in the Premiership, tell me if I am wrong or is Big Sam on another

planet and completely out of touch with what's going on on the field.

He has no hard man in midfield, ie, Warhurst, one lone striker against a pitiful defence but just when we look like doing something he makes his worst ever substitution. Mendy, the fastest and best player on the night for us, is taken off to some of the loudest booing I've heard at the Reebok. He brings on Barness, nothing wrong with him, but to keep Farrelly on the same pitch as 10 men who are trying to play is ridiculous. He shows no desire to win any balls and his passing ability is that of a Robin Reliant. Surely Sam can see this.

Wouldn't it be better giving young Walters a run up front, a bit of young venom, which is very sadly lacking in all our play.
