I'VE been watching Bolton for around 15 years and have learnt one significant thing about our fans. They seem to only have a memory span of about four or five games.
Just 10 games into the season and people are already calling for Sam's head yet 14 months ago in Cardiff I recall one of the most important and most self-satisfying games I have experienced with the crowd, press and players hailing him as a great manager.
In little over three years he's taken BWFC from the depths of despair in Division One to the dizzy heights of the Premiership. We have international players, our games watched all over the world, lower division clubs watch in admiration and Bolton fans moan after 10 games!
Give him a break. He's not become a bad manager overnight!
